Colors, patterns, and prints galore! This is the mere definition of Southern designer, Lilly Pulitzer. Although Mrs. Pulitzer was not a true-born Southerner, she migrated to Palm Beach, Florida with her husband and opened a juice stand. The interesting story of how Mrs. Pulitzer came to be known today is that while selling juice, she created a "shift dress" with bright colors to camouflage the juice stains. While gaining popularity, Mrs. Pulitzer's designs inspired her to make more and more of these colorful creations.
